How is your team doing in EuroLeague play?
Are there any other WNBA players on your team?
What is your favorite part about playing in Poland?
Have you had the chance to vacation or travel at all?
What are you looking forward to about returning to Atlanta this summer?
This is your third season with the Dream. What's the next step for this team?
What was the first thing you did once the Dream season ended?
I spent some time in Atlanta-- a few more days-- before I went back home to Sao Luis, Maranhao. I had a little over a month off in Brazil at home before I headed to Poland where I am playing now.
We are having a good season so far. We are in the quarterfinals right now. We have one game left in the best of 3 series, so we are one step away from the Final Four.
Yes, I am playing with my former teammate on the Seattle Storm Janell Burse.
I really like the city a lot and definitely the atmosphere in our gym (see my photo gallery for some pictures from our games). Our fans are something else! Krakow is a very lively city with a lot of students. So there are a lot of nights clubs and parties going on. The population here is mainly Catholic so there are lots of old churches in town. Remember that Pope John Paul II was from here.
Since my team is competing in EuroLeague, we travel a lot, so I have been to a few countries. Some of the places I've been so far include: Italy, Czech Republic, Hungary and France. But I have also been doing a lot of sightseeing here in Krakow. I've been to quite a few places here which you can see in my photo gallery.
I am definitely looking forward to seeing my teammates, coaches and staff and of course the fans back at Philips Arena! I know that we have a long way to go and a lot of work to accomplish our goal this year, but we are capable of doing great things and picking up where we left off last season.
Our next step is to be consistent... a team that can win against anybody. And from there we are looking to make the playoffs again and go deeper this season.
