Selected 19th overall in the 2008 WNBA Draft, Chaney debuted in her rookie season with 28 games played, averaging 2.4 points per game, shooting 27.7 percent from the field and 25 percent in three-point attempts. On July 22, Chaney scored a season high 11 points, forcing five turnovers, one assist one rebound.
