FANtourage Kick-off Party
On Thursday, November 6th, we pulled out all the stops for our FANtourage tip-off meeting by rolling out the red carpet and giving the greatest fans in the world the celebrity treatment. Our FANtourage members walked the red carpet at Tranquility Base and were greeted with flashing lights from the “paparazzi”! Deemed as the “A-List,” our FANtourage teammates rubbed elbows and mingled with our “A-List” staff beginning with owners Kathy Goodman and Carla Christofferson, President Kristin Bernert, Vice President & GM Penny Toler, Coach Michael Cooper, Sparks player Jessica Moore and many others! We shared Sparks stories, had a few laughs with Coach Cooper, and enjoyed a few “Sparktinis” (special Sparks martinis).
When the pre-party was over, we all sat around the fireplace and listened as our guest speakers acknowledged the work of all of our teammates who support us each game by cheering, attending events and being apart of initiatives like FANtourage. They stressed how important it is to have people like you behind our organization. The positive energy is felt by every player, coach and staff member and it is instrumental to our success as a team and company. Your involvement in FANtourage not only proves that you are apart of the most dedicated and avid fans in the WNBA but by bringing more people to the Sparks family, you have the opportunity to gain unique experiences and perks!
After a night of fun, our FANtourage teammates were ready to get the ball rolling!! Ideas were flowing and people were already thinking of who they can spread the “Sparks” joy to and how they would win the top prize! FANtourage members left the kick-off meeting on a mission and had one goal in mind – giving the gift of the best women’s basketball in the WNBA by introducing as many people as pos
sible to Sparks basketball!
