In his tenth year as COO of the Connecticut Sun, Jeffrey E. Hartmann is responsible for overseeing the team’s finance department, monitoring all aspects of team finances and ensuring that all WNBA league financial reporting requirements are met.

In January of 2011, Hartmann assumed responsibility as the President and Chief Executive Officer of Mohegan Sun, leading the day-to-day operations of Mohegan Sun.

Hartmann previously held the position of Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of the Mohegan Tribal Gaming Authority and Mohegan Sun from 2004-2010.

Prior to that, Hartmann was the Executive Vice President of Finance and Chief Financial Officer of Mohegan Sun from 1996-2004, supervising day-to-day management of the accounting, financial reporting to the Securities Exchange Commission and bondholder and bank relations.

Hartmann has 20 years of experience in the casino and hotel industry. Prior to joining the Mohegan Tribal Gaming Authority, he served as Vice President of Finance at Foxwoods Management Company from August 1991 until December of 1996. A certified public accountant, Hartmann was employed by PricewaterhouseCoopers, LLP, as an Audit Manager, from 1984 to 1991.

A graduate of Rutgers University, Hartmann resides in Old Lyme, Connecticut with his wife Marisa and their four children.
