It's been about a month since I left Connecticut now, and I still don't think I am over not making the playoffs! The most difficult part about it all was seeing the WNBA Finals here in Atlanta, where the Dream hosted the Seattle Storm. I was constantly reminded that we were NOT in the Finals through the local news coverage here.

Although it wasn't pleasant to watch, it motivated me to work harder for next year because I know that is where I want to be. After taking a couple of weeks off from any physical activity besides playing catch with my dogs, I was anxious to get back in the gym.

For now, I am excited to celebrate another birthday coming up on September 27th. I am really hoping for an ice cream cake that I can have all to myself, or that Bill Tinnel, from our front office, will send me some of his delicious home made cookies.

It’s very nice to spend time with family and be able to enjoy all the football games, but I am keeping my options open to go overseas and play too!
